"Well Info by TGS" is a FREE map driven petroleum well locator service by TGS which is powered by Lasserdata.com, and can be used to locate and identify wells throughout the United States. Active, inactive, plugged and other wells types and statuses are shown.
"Well Info by TGS" is a universal app compatible with most devices and will let you search areas close to your location, by a specific API number, operator name, field name, reservoir name, or any point selected directly on the map within the United States. When the search is initiated "Well Info by TGS" will show industry standard map symbols along with identifying information for all of the wells in the area. Optionally, the app can email you report(s) and/or data formats for use with industry standard forecasting programs (requires subscription).
States where oil and gas locations are available include:
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Gulf of Mexico, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
